Visions of Sugar Plums
Ever had Plum Pudding? I haven't. Heard of it though.
So I'm in the grocery store and I see "English style Plum Pudding"....and I check to see if it has the necessary requirement....Yes! Microwavable! So I now have Plum Pudding at home to make whenever I desire. The directions said to also get their "brandied hard sauce" to pour on it, but I could not find any brandied hard sauce at the store. I don't know if this sauce is essential to the Plum Pudding experience or not.
The label was kind of interesting, it gave this little history of Plum Pudding and said something like the Puritans banned it, deeming it so rich that it was sinful.

The hard sauce is a MUST! I think I have a recipe for it somewhere-- it's really good on bread pudding too.

So wait, now I have to make the sauce with a recipe?
Though if you say it's a must, I do want to experience plum pudding the way it's supposed to. (well, aside from the microwave part).
I can't remember if I've had bread pudding or not.
