It's just the way the press wants you to know that they didn't get to brage in and ruin it with helicopters. Eloped just means "they snuck one past us".

High fallutin with some fancy french flowery prose is dvdguy's gimmick don'tcha know? Of course he meant Brage because it's trivia. Brage is Jack Black's middle name, and since he's the son of Odin, it's no wonder she got pregnant.
