Cheese Factor
We all have some songs that we like that maybe we are a little ashamed of a bit right? I mean some cheesy, kinda lame song that we really wouldn't want to be blaring from our car.
A few of mine would include...
"It might be you", from the movie Tootsie.
"longer" by Dan Fogelberg, one of my all time favorites.
There is a Queen song that is the fruitiest song of all time, yet I like it. It's called "good old fashioned loverboy".
I really like soft rock so there is a lot of stuff that would apply here for me. Like pretty much anything from the group, "Bread".
And I'm not a country music guy, yet I do like some songs from the 70's and early 80's. Stuff from people like Ronnie Milsap, the Oakridge boys, The statler brothers, Alabama, Kenny Rogers, etc.
Some examples would include "Luchenback Texas", "Charlotte's Web", etc.
I know dvdguy has already outed himself with Air Supply's "all out of love".....am I right about that, or was it "making love out of nothing at all"?
Any contributions from you guys? (or as I affectionately know you as, "ya'll")

Wow, I think I have too many to list.
Here are some.
Bad English-"When I see you smile"
Billy Ocean-"When the going gets tough"
Any Air Supply.(First concert I ever saw...)
"Hooked on a feeling" (The ooga ooga shakka song) and "Putting on the Ritz." (I can't remember who sings those.)
Terry Jacks-"Seasons in the sun."
"Summer Nights" from grease.
And then theres the Carpenters.(I really just love her voice)
I have so many I could list. I like lots of 60's, 70's 80's stuff. But I should say the difference is I will still blare all these songs from my car and look like a tard. I don't care what people think anymore... God put me on this planet for comedy relief anyway. LOL.

The town I grew up in only seemed to have one radio station, and it was country music. So the most memorable songs in my head are ones by Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, and the like. Those are all pretty damn cheesy.
I also like the aforementioned Air Supply. And how about some "Total Eclipse of the Heart" action for ya?

Yeah baby, total eclipse of the heart rocks!
and how's this dvdguy:
"My baby is American Made
Born and bred in the U.S.A.
From her silky long hair to her sexy long legs
My baby is American Made."

I almost said Total eclipse of the heart....

Almost only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades.
Though I don't know why it counts in horseshoes, seems like you miss you miss and it shouldn't count.
Anyway, I have some songs from my childhood that I'm nostalgic about.
Like Dolly Parton's "here you come again".
And I like electric light orchestra and some styx.

Oh I like Styx too. I didn't realize they are cheesey. Thats how bad I am I don't even know what makes a song cheese.

Oh man, D'gator...my dad use to say that allll the time.(the hand gernade thing) Thanks for making me cry.

yes, "Come sail away", "Mr. roboto" and "Babe" would all be under the cheese category.
