I like movies
Films out now I'm interested in:
Thank you for smoking
Inside Man
Lucky Number Slevin
But I saw Scary Movie 4 with my roomate late last night. I'd say it was more of the same of the third film. There were 3 jokes I really liked, and the rest provided a few giggles.
By the way, I just got some Gene Wilder DVD's from Netflix the other day (The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother, The World's Greatest Lover, The Frisco Kid, Rhinoceros). I've seen all of them before except for Rhinoceros. Gene Wilder does commentary on the ones he directed and it inspired me to look up his film career, because he was quite the star in the 70's. He hasn't done a movie in 15 years. "Another You" in 1991 was his last movie. Since then he's done some TV work. Geez, if I was a comedy director I'd give Gene Wilder a little part in my film. It's Willy freakin' Wonka!

If you watch Funny About Love you'll realize why he doesn't make movies anymore. It was embarassing how he completely lost his comic abilities.
Although I remember hearing in 98 or 99 that he had cancer or something. Those A&E TV movies he did were supposed to be his triumphant return after beating it, I think.
He made the news show rounds a year ago when the Willy Wonka remake came out. Seemed ok.

he seems fine in the commentaries. I'd be curious to see those A&E movies.
